Why gel beads
A classic gel pack freezes into a stiff slab. Gel beads keep moving inside the clear outer film, so the pack shapes itself to the body even straight out of the freezer. The beads also make the pack look good on a table: bright colors, clear film and your logo printed on top.
Shapes and printing
Round, square, rectangle and heart shapes are the standard, plus fruit, popsicles, lips and other shapes listed in fun shape ice packs. Most gel bead packs are pad printed in one or more colors. Hot and cold

How long does a gel bead pack stay cold?
Usually around 15 to 20 minutes of useful cold after a few hours in the freezer, which matches the typical recommended cold therapy time. Bigger packs stay cold longer.
Are gel bead packs safe for kids?
They are widely used in pediatric and dental offices. As with any cold pack, it should not be placed directly on bare skin for long; a cloth or a plush cover helps.
